About the book:
Beyond the Burrow is the whimsical, heartwarming tale of Mortencia “Morty” Mole, a shy homebody who prefers her snug burrow, knitting, and the company of her quiet companion Phil the Pillbug to the wide and noisy meadow outside. When a knock at her door brings an unexpected visitor, Morty discovers a world of friendship waiting just beyond her doorstep. Brimming with cozy charm, gentle humor, and richly illustrated woodland scenes, Beyond the Burrow is a timeless story of courage, kindness, and jam.
